The JFC Catalogue is annually delivered internationally to major musical organizations, thereby helping in the global diffusion of Japanese music. The JFC Catalogue is available upon request.
CONCERTS The JFC annual concert, “Japanese Composers”, started in 1974 as an introduction to the JFC Catalogue. It has been a two-day concert since 1980. Other annual concerts are Kids Box Piano Concert “To Our Children”, begun in 1985, in which composers play their own pieces, and “JFC Independent” which started in 1996. In 2001, the JFC started “JFC Awards Competition Concert”, which is open to all Japanese composers younger than 35 writing for chamber orchestra. It is held every other year.
